When to discuss sublimation
Dye sublimation uses heat to transfer a printed design to a suitable material. Polyester and polyester-rich fabrics are common choices; the exact fabric and base colour matter to the result.
This method is worth discussing for gradients, detailed patterns and artwork that covers large parts of a team garment. Ask how the panels will be cut and joined so important details do not fall awkwardly on a seam.

When to discuss embroidery
Embroidery creates the design with stitches. For a small crest or wordmark, discuss the proposed dimensions, stitch density and backing with the supplier, then check a sample on the actual garment fabric.
Lightweight or stretchy sportswear needs particular care: dense embroidery can be difficult for a fabric with little structural support. The size and complexity of the mark may need to change rather than simply copying the artwork unchanged.

A logo file alone does not define a finished garment. Confirm the actual size, placement, colours and method in the quotation. Request a sample or proof appropriate to the project and retain the approved version for future orders.
