Fit the kit around the way it will be worn

Check a size sample where available, especially if the squad includes mixed age groups. Keep the approved size breakdown in one document so later changes do not create conflicting orders.
Build a readable artwork layout
Prepare the team name, player numbers, names and approved sponsor marks as separate items. Confirm their positions and dimensions on a front-and-back mockup. Check spelling and number allocation against the roster rather than relying on memory.
Use your competition's current kit rules when deciding on colours and numbering. Ask the organiser when requirements are unclear; a product reference photograph is not proof of competition approval.
